Nearly thirty years after the original cult classic “Happy Gilmore” captivated golf enthusiasts with its unorthodox protagonist and memorable antics, the sequel “Happy Gilmore 2” is set to premiere on Netflix on July 25. The film follows an aging, retired Happy Gilmore, forced back into competitive golf to afford his daughter Vienna’s $75,000 ballet academy tuition. Fans can look forward to returning characters like rival Shooter McGavin, as well as appearances by real-life golf stars including Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Nelly Korda, Nancy Lopez, and Jack Nicklaus. Although not tournament-legal due to its flat back, the collectible putter, priced at €499.99, has already sold out online, with only two units available for purchase from Jumbo Sports in Amsterdam starting July 25. Additionally, Callaway offers limited edition Chrome Tour golf balls adorned with memorable film quotes for $59.99, providing fans unique memorabilia tied to the film’s humor and charm.
